Clear Horizon – Most Significant Change Evaluation

With funding from Lotterywest, g-oz contracted Clear Horizon to monitor and evaluate our program in Carnarvon. In November last year Sarah from Clear Horizon and g-oz Program Director Kylie, visited Carnarvon and interviewed 40 key stakeholders.

These interviews were to be presented at a performance and interactive workshop in Carnarvon in March but were re-scheduled to May when Cyclone Olwyn hit. 18 girls from years 7 – 11 performed 2 dances and a song at the beginning of the workshop and a small audience of parents, teachers and school leadership applauded them vigorously; it was a wonderful to see the girls face their fears and perform in their home context.

The interactive workshop, while shorter than planned with fewer participants, nevertheless facilitated robust discussion and the goal of feeding back to the stakeholders the information gathered so far. Carina from Clear Horizon will present the complete report by the end of June.
