Upcoming Travel Program

Our term 4 visits to both Carnarvon and Halls Creek are usually the busiest of the year with selections for the travel program in November being finalised.

This year, eight girls from Halls Creek District High School will join ten girls from Carnarvon Community College and 24 AGC Performing Choir choristers on a trip to Perth. This will be the first time that girls from both Halls Creek and Carnarvon have travelled together and we're looking forward to seeing all of them perform at various venues throughout Perth, as well as the Perth Annual Concert on November 29. Our wonderful Patron, Dame Quentin Bryce AD, CVO, is delighted to be joining the girls at the Annual Concert and we’re very appreciative of her time and support.

The week promises to be a wonderful experience for all involved. Activities will include a performance at Government House for Her Excellency the Honourable Kerry Sanderson AO, a public concert at Central Park and involvement in a show that features a3 – Australian Arts Alive participants. The girls are looking forward to participating in a dance workshop with Ochre Contemporary Dance Company and a workshop with students at Yule Brook College.
